The days my children were born are the very best days of my life. My oldest daughter's birth was long and painful and honestly, I don't remember much of it. There aren't many images as my support didn't think about it. My second birth I put my husband in charge of the camera.. yet again, there aren't many images... and the ones I do have are out of focus. Mentally his birth was so quick it's hard to process. Finally, with my youngest, I did what I should have done all along. I hired a photographer. And you know what, those images are everything. While I did experience birth trauma from her birth, I look at those images and know that I was strong. I fought for her and the moment she was born, the happiness and joy and tears, I have it to look back on forever.
I've built my career around serving other women by documenting every detail of the most important days of their lives and all the days to follow. From the waves of labor that bring their little one into this world to the smallest of details such as the flakes of dry skin on their newborn. These are the moments I live to document for you, to give you your memories to relive whenever your heart calls to them.
Birth is my passion but the other love of mine is Newborns. I love newborn snuggles. I love tiny toes. I love curling a sweet baby up on a pile of fluff. Whether you choose a posed newborn session or a relaxed documentary session, they're both the memories worth more than any amount of money.
More about me? I'm a Java Chip loving Mama of 3. (5, 4 & 2) I know every world to Trolls & Moana (Don't act like you don't.....) I like a glass of wine every now and again. I dream of traveling. I love going to the movies. Disney World is our second home. I try to eat healthy but that cookie dough ice creams calls to my soul. Sometimes I stay up late staring at my kids while they sleep thinking about how my heart might explode at any moment, even though just hours before that I thought they were going to make my head explode. My camera is a part of me and I want to use it to document your story.
